Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Staff Frontend Software Engineer to define and lead the architecture of Infinia’s next-generation UI platform.

This is a deeply technical leadership role. You will:

  • Own frontend architectural direction
  • Design scalable UI platform foundations
  • Enable multiple teams to build independently and efficiently
  • Integrate AI-driven capabilities into the user experience
  • Ensure enterprise-grade security, performance, and reliability

What You’ll Do

  • Define and own the frontend architecture roadmap for Infinia.
  • Establish long-term framework and tooling strategy.
  • Build high-performance applications using modern UI technologies (e.g., React, TypeScript, Next.js).
  • Integrate AI capabilities into the UI experience.
  • Define and enforce CI/CD best practices.
  • Lead design, implementation, and automation of frontend QE practices.
  • Guide architectural reviews and mentor other engineers.
  • Establish coding standards, testing strategies, and quality benchmarks.
  • Enforce strict frontend security best practices.
  • Ensure UI meets enterprise performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
  • Influence product direction with technical insight.
  • Translate complex storage and distributed systems concepts into intuitive user experiences.
  • Partner cross-functionally with backend, platform, security, and DevOps teams.

 

What will you bring to DDN

  • 10+ years of software development experience.
  • 7+ years of experience with React and/or TypeScript.
  • Proven experience defining frontend architecture for enterprise-scale platforms.
  • Experience in data storage, infrastructure, or distributed systems domains.
  • Experience building AI-integrated web applications.
  • Experience operating in both cloud-native and on-prem environments.
  • Strong understanding of frontend security best practices.

Salary Range: $123,000 - $228,000

Interview Process: After submitting your application, one of our recruiters will review your resume. If your application passes this stage, you will be invited to a 30-minute interview during which a member of our team will ask some basic questions. If you clear the interview, you will enter the main process, which can consist of up to four interviews in total:

 

  • Coding assessment: Often in a language of your choice.
  • Systems design: Translate high-level requirements into a scalable, fault-tolerant service (depending on role).
  • Real-time problem-solving: Demonstrate practical skills in a live problem-solving session.
  • Meet and greet with the wider team.
  • Our goal is to finish the main process in 2-3 weeks at most.
