Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Senior Technical Writer supporting AI and platform products, you will play a critical role in translating complex, cutting-edge technologies into clear, compelling, and actionable content for both technical and executive audiences.

 

You’ll work closely with leaders in AI Application DevelopmentInsight-Centric UXData Platform, and Engineering Support to craft customer-facing technical documentation and enablement materials that drive clarity, alignment, and impact across the organization.

 

This is not just about writing documentation — it’s about turning innovation into understandingYour audience includes everyone from engineers and researchers to executives and Fortune 500 customers.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Communication & Documentation

  • Write clear, concise, and technically accurate documentation across a range of formats: software and hardware procedures, release notes, runbooks, API references, architecture diagrams, product walkthroughs, and more.
  • Document advanced AI/ML architectures, agent-based user experiences, and complex support escalation workflows.
  • Test documentation against the actual product to ensure accuracy.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to understand and communicate the “why” and “how” behind product decisions and system behavior.
  • Embed with cross-functional teams across AI, infrastructure, support, and design to gather technical insights and ensure content accuracy.

 

AI-Aware Authoring

  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., LLMs, summarizers, prompt optimizers, diagram generators) to accelerate drafting, formatting, and validation.
  • Help define prompt libraries and documentation around agent behavior, user queries, and explainability features.
  • Collaborate on content for AI-driven interfaces, including tooltips, agent responses, and guided interaction flows.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in technical writing, product documentation, or technical communication for enterprise software, AI systems, or infrastructure platforms.
  • Ability to distill complex systems (distributed storage, ML pipelines, LLM agents, etc.) into readable and structured content.
  • Experience collaborating directly with engineering, product, and design leadership on high-impact strategic initiatives.
  • Exceptional written English and communication skills, including visual structuring (tables, diagrams, workflows).
  • Comfortable using and documenting AI/ML technologies, cloud-native architectures, and developer-facing APIs or SDKs.
  • Understanding of information architecture, design, and UX principles for clear, user-friendly documentation
  • Proficiency in using one or more documentation tools like docs as code, FrameMaker, Madcap Flare, Paligo, DITA, etc.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, MLOps platforms, or GenAI ecosystems (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face).
  • Proficiency in using docs as code toolchains, especially Fern, Mintlify, Docusaurus or another React or MDX-based site generator, including CI/CD for docs and AI-enhanced authoring assistants.
  • Knowledge of Linux, networking, or storage hardware.
  • Exposure to insight delivery platforms, observability tools, or natural language-driven user interfaces.
