Position Summary:
DDN Professional Services (PS) is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and technically grounded Project Manager to join its European operations. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate the delivery of customer-facing projects, manage internal resource planning, and ensure operational alignment across Professional Services engagements. This is a critical role that connects execution with business operations, requiring strong organizational skills, technical understanding, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage end-to-end delivery of specific customer projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and deliverables are aligned with contractual agreements and customer expectations.
Coordinate the allocation and scheduling of engineering resources across multiple ongoing projects, balancing priorities and availability.
Lead the coordination of logistics, procurement, and internal sales operations processes relevant to PS delivery (including PS quoting workflows, project registration, resource bookings, and travel coordination).
Maintain close communication with internal teams (engineering, sales, support) and external stakeholders (customers, partners) to ensure project alignment, task visibility, and successful outcomes.
Produce and maintain project plans, resource trackers, risk registers, project status reports, contributing to project governance and business insight.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
8–12 years of experience in the IT sector, with at least 5 years of direct project management experience in technology or infrastructure projects. Background in data storage, HPC, enterprise storage, or cloud-based infrastructure is highly preferred.
Solid foundational knowledge of IT systems, enterprise storage, networking, or data center solutions. Previous experience with DDN products, Lustre file systems, or similar technologies is a strong advantage.
Familiar with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet), and methodologies (Agile, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent). Strong skills in Excel and structured reporting are required.
Fluent in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Additional European languages are a plus.
