Job Description

The HR Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting HR processes, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to employee engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role and you must be able to come into our Corporate office location in Chatsworth, CA at least 4 days a week. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Purchase Orders: Open and track purchase orders, ensuring timely processing and adherence to company policies.
  • General Support: Assigning employees inquiries to designated groups in organization’s TDX system.
  • Audit physical personnel files for accuracy and compliance
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Workers' Compensation

  • Coordinating with employees, providers, and internal teams to ensure proper documentation.
  • Support with compliance with safety and security procedures and actively promote a safe working environment.

Employee Experience

  • New Hire Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding tasks with IT/Hiring Managers, arrange new employee gifts, and ensure a positive experience for new employees, collaborate with new hire onboarding as needed.
  • On-Site Events: Plan and execute employee engagement activities and events to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Recognition Programs – be the main point of contact for tracking, communication and payments of milestone and Spot/Velocity awards

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a backup for HR functions to ensure continuity during team absences.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience and Education

  • One to three years working as an HR administrative support in a previous company
  • High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred.

Skills and Competencies

  • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate honestly and respectfully at all levels in a collaborative style.
  • Professionalism:  Ability to work with confidential information and manage personal information with discretion
  • Attention to Detail: Involves the ability to carefully and thoroughly complete tasks with precision and all aspects of the work are accurate
  • Systems Knowledge: Previous work experience with Microsoft Office suite especially Word and Excel.

Pay range: $20./hr - $25./hr.
