Job Description

The RMA Test Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tests and repairs on returned products (RMAs) to ensure they meet quality standards and are suitable for resale or repair. This role requires a understanding of electronic systems and troubleshooting techniques.

 

This position can be hired as a RMA Test Technician or SR RMA Test Technician depending upon experience. This position is onsite in Chatsworth, CA.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform complex system-level tests on RMA products, including but not limited to:
   o Functional testing
   o Performance testing
   o Environmental testing
   o Reliability testing
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system failures using various diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test efficiency and product quality.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

 

Qualifications:
• AS degree in Computer Science and/or Information Systems, or a related technical field preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure of meeting deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

 

Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of storage technologies, including SSDs, HDDs, RAID configurations, and related components.
• 5+ years of work experience with Intel-based hardware and Linux-based operating systems in commercial manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in system testing, with a focus on storage systems and components.

Hourly Pay Range: $22.00 - $29.80 depending on experience
