Job Description

We are looking for motivated and passionate individuals that are self-motivated in their work and career, but we are valuing and thriving in an environment where collaboration and teamwork are at best. We are all together on a quest to provide game changing storage solutions.

 

This is a swing shift, 4pm to 12am, position at our Data Center location in Wheatridge, Colorado.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploying, configuring, and maintaining servers, network switches/routers, and storage in data center racks.
  • Collaborating with partner teams to retrofit, troubleshoot issues, and identify long-term solutions for stable data center operations.
  • Scheduling and conducting maintenance, including upgrades, migrations, and managing production networks.
  • Coordinating with IT teams to ensure a secure access environment within the data center.
  • Supporting the development, testing, and integration of new and existing server/storage hardware platforms.
  • Establishing and maintaining a resilient virtual infrastructure using VMWare, Hyper V, Kubernetes, and similar technologies, and managing networks using Cisco and/or Juniper network devices.
  • Willingness to work outside normal work hours, including night shifts, on rotation or as needed. 

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of related work experience responsible for deployment, configuration of Servers / Storage platforms in large Data Center environments
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Servers, Networks and Storage hardware platforms
  • Working knowledge of connectivity of Servers, Storage, network and Power supply, Battery Backup unit in large Data Center environments
  • Experience working in a multi-vendor environment with hands-on experience with server and storage hardware.
  • Experience with loading OS images as well as various software applications (e.g. Backup)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver against mission critical deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the Windows, Linux and VMware, Hyper V and Kubernetes based systems.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced global team environments and solve problems with limited supervision.
  • Have a can-do attitude, willing to learn and grow with the evolving needs of the data center operations teams

Preferred (Nice to have):

  • Advanced knowledge in network, compute, storage, and virtualization.
  • Experience in rack and stack deployments, QA, DevOps, and engineering support.
  • VMware VCP and project management skills.
  • Some experience in public and/or private cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenStack).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Perl).

 

Salary range is $75,000/yr - $78,000/ yr
