Job Description

Job Summary: 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless delivery of software applications.
  • Lead the migration of existing infrastructure to the cloud, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability, with a focus on AWS.
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud-based infrastructure using AWS services.
  • Develop and automate Kubernetes (K8s) cluster deployments on cloud and VMware using Terraform.
  • Integrate Kubernetes with tools such as MinIO, ClickHouse, ELK Stack, and Prometheus for optimized monitoring and storage.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
  • Automate the deployment, configuration, and management of applications and infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform, and Chef.
  • Define and implement a roadmap for the automation of processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Optimize AWS budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining performance and availability.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure optimal uptime.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices across the infrastructure, including identity and access management, data encryption, and network security.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cloud computing, DevOps, and infrastructure automation.
  • Provide regular updates to management on progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvements.
  • Create and update ISO images for releases and align them with the latest OS versions.

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong expertise in cloud migration, especially to AWS.
  • Should have atleast 12+yrs of experience as Devops Engineer
  • Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter environments.
  • Proficient in automating Kubernetes clusters on cloud and VMware using Terraform.
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux system architecture and fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Linux System Administration and scripting (e.g., Shell).
  • Strong understanding of high-performance computing, server installation, and management.
  • Experience in integrating Kubernetes with tools like MinIO, ClickHouse, ELK Stack, and Prometheus.
  • Experience with AWS budgeting, cost management, and optimization strategies.
  • Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and Agile software development practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Interview Process:

 

After submitting your application, the team reviews your CV and statement of exceptional work. If your application passes this stage, you will be invited to a 30-minute interview (“phone interview”) during which a member of our team will ask some basic questions. If you clear the initial phone interview, you will enter the main process, which consists of four technical interviews:

 

  • Coding assessment in a language of your choice.
  • Systems design: Translate high-level requirements into a scalable, fault-tolerant service.
  • Systems hands-on: Demonstrate practical skills in a live problem-solving session.
  • Project deep-dive: Present your past exceptional work to a small audience.
  • Meet and greet with the wider team.
  • Our goal is to finish the main process within one week.
  • We don’t rely on recruiters for assessments.
  • Every application is reviewed by a member of our technical team.
