Job Description

We are currently seeking a RMA Customer Service Representative to work in Chatsworth, CA.

 

Self-motivated experienced RMA Customer Service Representative with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.  Must be willing to take ownership of all office-related tasks and administrative duties. Responsible for producing reports and presentations when required. The confidential, trustworthy and reliable handling of information is a prerequisite for the job.  

 

Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Receive and inspect shipments and returns of faulty parts
  • Prioritize and ensure returns are processed promptly and meet customer requirements
  • Inspect parts and documents for compliance requirements and written procedures
  • Dispatch replacements to the end users
  • Process and issue customer returns of faulty parts to US
  • Maintain and track RMA stock
  • Report RMA requests to US
  • Receive replacements from US
  • Issue any paperwork associated with returns including credits and shipment returns
  • Provide assistance to Customer Support Engineers in Japan
  • Work on other duties or special projects as assigned  

 

 

Qualifications for this role are:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a stand-alone administration role in a rapidly changing environment
  • Must be computer literate with strong Microsoft Office software skills
  • Ability to practice discretion and maturity when dealing with confidential and sensitive information

Pay rate: $18.00/ hr
