We are currently seeking candidate for the position of Technical Account Manager in Germany or France.

 

Job Title:

 

We are currently seeking candidate for the position of Systems Engineer for Europe.
We are seeking a Systems Engineer to perform pre-sales activities. This position provides technical
expertise to Sales Account Executives. As a successful candidate, you will design solutions and proposals
to meet customer-defined specifications, help customers define solution specifications, provide POC, and
benchmark support. You will be engaged in providing installation and training to customers on DDN
solutions when required. You will have great presentation skills and knowledge of the storage industry
would be ideal. This role requires travel.
You will have need relevant technical System Engineering experience in pre-sale or a closely related field.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:


• Work with Sales Executives to closing new business opportunities by gaining a thorough technical
and business understanding of our customers' needs;
• Help sales qualify, identify, close new opportunities and maintain strong customer relationships
throughout the sales cycle and beyond;
• Understand the internal DDN sales process and how to utilize the company resources to close
business;
• Participate in customer-focused seminars, tradeshows, events, and training;
• Provide RFP responses, technical drawings, presentations, and recommendations;
• Acquire and maintain a thorough technical understanding of like industries;
• Develop innovative solutions to customers' business needs;
• Proving regular status reports;

• Helping to develop and enhance products, processes and procedures
• Work as part of an international team, providing support across other areas as may be required
by the business from time to time.
Qualifications:
• BSc in an appropriate discipline or equivalent


Skills and Experience:


Skills:
• Should have a strong interest in new technologies and a hunger to consistently keep developing;
• Ability to multitask and develop innovative solutions for client needs;
• Great presentation skills and knowledge of the storage industry would be ideal
• This role requires travel.
• The ability to listen, understand and articulate the customer's needs and how to create
appropriate solutions;
• The ability to build relationships and people skills is essential;
• Fluent in English and preferably with a second European language.


Experience:
• For selected roles appropriate Security Clearance/s or the ability to obtain such a Security
Clearance/s may be required
• Knowledge of the storage industry and its key solutions;
• Basic understanding of scripting languages such as Python or Bash
