Job Description

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing System Test Technician II.  This is an intermediate level position with 1 - 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred. The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, passion for work with computer hardware, good troubleshooting skills. Critical thinking is essential for this role. The ability to identify and analyze problems, gather and evaluate information, and make sound decisions is critical to success in this position.

 

Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for testing and troubleshooting Intel based electromechanical sub-assemblies and complete systems
  • Set up of standard test equipment, conduct Functional, System (burn-in) tests according to process instructions and test procedures
  • Follow detailed hardware and software testing procedures for quality assurance
  • Responsible for maintaining records on work performed and report of the results
  • Responsible for writing Problem and Non-Conformance reports
  • Maintains a clean and neat work area

 

Qualifications for this role are:

  • High School Diploma is required
  • A+ Certification in computer repair is preferred
  • Experience with repairing computer hardware is preferred
  • Proven skills in testing and quality assurance
  • Ability to follow directions and instructions precisely and to work well under pressure of meeting deadlines with a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent written skills with attention to details and ability to accurately communicate technical information
  • Familiarity with OS (Windows and/or Linux)
  • Fast learner with a keen aptitude for technology
  • Manufacturing background preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Hourly pay range: $22.50/ hr – $25.50/ hr
