Job Description


We are seeking a Software Developer/Engineer with Python/Golang/Java, JavaScript, Angular 2+ experience to join our team of developers focused on building the next generation monitoring tool for DDN products and clusters. The candidate must have proven product development and support experience, effective communication skills, be able to work in a fast paced environment and be a self-starter. The candidate must be personally accountable and highly motivated.  In addition, the candidate must be able to effectively collaborate with other teams and individuals worldwide.



  • Design and develop in Golang and Python under tight deadlines
  • Translating functional requirements into delivered solutions
  • Full application development from design to development to testing to deployment
  • Participate in technical reviews throughout the course of development.
  • Support product deployment and production defect resolution in a timely manner.


  • 5+ years of experience in Software Development
  • Strong knowledge of Go programming language and Linux
  • Should have hands-on experience with python
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools {e.g. git}
  • Ability to work both independently and in cooperation with others
  • Intellectually curious, passionate, and inventive
  • Motivated to solve problems in unique and innovative ways
  • Great attitude towards work and people


  • Experience with software development using JavaScript and/or Angular 6+.
  • Experience with relational SQL databases like Postgres and/or No SQL databases like Cassandra.
  • Knowledge of ISO and RPM creation and deployment.


  • Big data experience (i.e. GPFS, Lustre, Hadoop)
  • Experience with data mining, Hadoop or map-reduce algorithms
  • Experience with Amazon Cloud for automated VM provisioning, setup and testing.
  • Strong understanding of network principles, topology, load balancing, routing desired.
  • Knowledge of cloud storage, cloud computing, data center operations is desirable.
