    Job Description

    GENERAL SUMMARY

    We are looking for a top class HR Professional.   This talented individual will be part of the DDN Global HR team, reporting to the Head of HR or their designate.  In addition, this role will have a dotted line to the DDN India Country Manager. 

    The role will take the lead on the day to day management of the HR function within DDN India, working to deliver key HR projects in support of the business at DDN in India.  They will provide professional business partner support to our DDN innovators.  They will participate in cross functional teams and will in this role gain broad experience and opportunities interacting at all levels of the business.

     

     

    What will you be doing …

    Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

    • Day to day management of the HR function;
    • Deliver on HR projects; employee engagement, communications and performance management programmes aligned with the DDN HR strategy;
    • Provide advice to management & staff on policy and procedural queries and employee relations issues,
    • Complying with legislation and ensuring consistency;
    • Take the lead on timely management employee relations issues with managers;
    • Local lead on the delivery of DDN India on-boarding ensure it works in parallel with DDN global on boarding practices; 
    • Support and drive the DDN India recruitment processes;
    • Work to foster an environment of team work and co-operation;
    • Assure accurate and compliant offer letter, contracts, employee files and other documentation;
    • Support finance in the processing and governance of payroll and employee benefits;
    • Ensure compliance and processes in regard to all work permits or immigration requirements such as visas, work permits etc.
    • Management of local HR vendors;
    • Additional duties that maybe assigned as required from time to time;
    • Partner effectively with the Country Manager, Engineering Director and other Business Line Manager/s to manage and drive HR and recruitment needs including career interventions.
    • Stakeholder Management – work closely to manage expectations, deliverables and business outcomes.

    • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communications skills working in a complex and matrix business environment
    • Business driven and people focused with excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing, change management and team working skills.
    • Excellent knowledge of Human Resources best practices including Performance Management, Compensation and Rewards, Recruitment, Learning and Organisational Development, Employee Relations / Engagement and Talent Management.
    • Strong vendor management skills and experience
    • Business acumen and people acumen, with proven experience working with international business managers
    • Ability to partner and engage across various teams and the business to deliver effectively
    • Resilient
    • Fluency in English essential;
    • Excellent client service skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office Products (Excel, Work; Outlook, Powepoint);

     

    Education Required:                     

    •  Any degree required, MBA or an advanced degree in HR preferred

    Experience

    • 8 + years of relevant work experience in a HR role as part of an international /matrix structured organisation.
    • Experience providing HR support in an IT/Software environment
    • Start-up experience preferred
