DDN are looking for a recent graduate to technical product research for our upcoming technologies.

DDN builds innovative storage and data products that accelerate the extraction of value from the world's information. DDN is the leading storage vendor in supercomputing today, with a set of products that are the fastest in the market. DDN storage SW uses a set of technologies (RDMA networks, Distributed Hash-Tables, Log structured filesystems, fully declustered data management, flash optimised data placement) that comprise an extremely fast platform such that a rack-size system is capable of 50M IOPs and ½ TB/s of throughput today – many multiples of our competitors. DDN are looking to take that platform and further dramatically develop it for the data markets for 2020-2030 both on-prem and in the cloud.

This candidate would work to investigate these markets to drive optimal product development through benchmarking, technical research, competitive research and analysis of storage products, filesystems, enterprise and web-cloud applications. The day-to-day activities will involve executing performance tests at DDN benchmark labs, reading and interpreting research papers, visiting customer organisations, dissecting analyst data and presenting this material back to DDN engineering and senior management.
